Location: Pune, India
Role Description
- We are looking for an experienced developer resource with Web Services (SOAP/REST), with strong Java and API skills.
- You would work closely with HR and IT stakeholders to build and extend Workday functionality and deliver secure, scalable, high‑quality solutions aligned with business needs.

Your key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications within Workday Extend and Orchestrate modules
- Develop REST/SOAP integrations, web services, and event‑driven processes with Workday Studio, Connectors etc.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues
- Support release management, upgrades, and regression testing
- Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and business stakeholders
Your skills and experience
- Overall experience of 6-10 Years with technical hands‑on experience
- Proficiency in:
- REST and SOAP APIs
- JSON, XML
- Object‑oriented programming concepts
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Workday certifications (Extend, Compensation, Reporting, HCM etc.)
- Experience with Workday Integrations:
- Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors (advantageous)
- Additional experience with other Workday modules, like Workday (Advanced) Compensation, Core Compensation, Core HR etc.
- Experience with cloud‑native development concepts
- Experience working in global or enterprise‑scale Workday environments
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
