Meet the Team

The Cisco Transceiver Module Group builds the future of connectivity for switches, routers and servers. The Product Management Team is responsible for the entire product lifecycle of the Cisco’s broad pluggable optics' portfolio – including portfolio/roadmap definition, pricing strategy, engagement with sales/ partners/ customers.

Product Managers are empowered, trusted and influential leaders at Cisco.

Your Impact

As a Product Manager in our group, you will have the responsibilities for optical transceivers, owning every product aspect throughout the product lifecycle.

• Exploration near term and long term Market opportunities
• Define product requirements and forecast
• Technical engagement, and provide guidance on priorities to the JDM partner
• Successful cross-functional engagement with TMGBU and platform HW and SW engineering teams, Host Platform PLMs
• Lead Go-to-market activities including marketing collaterals, webinars, blogs, whitepapers and trade shows
• Drive pricing, product adoption, product transition and end-of-sale phases.
• Track optics opportunities and develop join initiatives with host-platforms (Cisco Switches/Routers/Servers) to position Cisco high-speed optics with customers. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced technical degree or MBA, 10+ years of experience in Product Management and Technical Marketing roles.
• Business oriented and highly organized leader

• Exceptional communication skills

• Ability to influence cross-functional teams' both internally and externally within Cisco and Customers.

• Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to use AI effectively

• Strong analytical abilities to break a problem into smaller solvable pieces. 

• Problem solver who embraces opportunities to step outside your comfort zone

• Experience handling multiple issues and initiatives simultaneously.

• Knowledge of customer optical infrastructure requirements in AI datacenter networks 

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Technical Knowledge in high speed pluggable optics and its key components

• Experience engaging with Webscale and Necloud companies is desirable
