Entry Level Systems Engineer, C2 Networking, Clearance Eligible

ABOUT THE JOB

Our team develops unmanned aerial systems capable of terminal guidance, long range intelligence collection, precision navigation, and unsupervised autonomy. Anvil, Altius, Ghost, and other developmental UAS platforms are built to operate in remote environments with limited user input, driving requirements for reliability and autonomy. We have developed an autonomy stack that receives user intent, responds to detections processed at the edge, and coordinates flight patterns for groups of assets. We are looking for entry level graduates who are eager to learn the Anduril-way and quickly develop their skills to contribute in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Enable UAS C2 capabilities through resilient network design
• Derive system/subsystem/component level requirements
• Design, develop and maintain system components in complex system environments
• Document software engineering processes and networking best practices
• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of lab and flight-test networking hardware, including tactical radios, switches, routers, and edge compute nodes
• Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) integration and bench testing to validate network reliability and throughput for command-and-control (C2) and sensor data
• Build and maintain physical and virtual test setups to simulate contested, high-latency, or bandwidth-constrained network environments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in STEM (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics, Computer Science or other relevant engineering discipline)
• Passion for networking, system design, and engineering
• Familiarity with basic networking
• Demonstrated ownership and impact from internships, side projects, etc
• Go-getter mentality who is eager to learn from Anduril's best and brightest
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
• Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a network engineer that highlights your ability to execute engineering level tasks as an individual and part of a team
• Knowledge of Linux based operating systems
• Experience with test script development using common languages (Python, Matlab etc)
• Familiarity with RF Integration with, but not limited to, Unmanned Aerial Systems
• Familiarity with tactical radios

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
