Job Description:
The Role and Impact
Join Intel as a Module Engineer and play a pivotal role in advancing semiconductor manufacturing technology. In this position, you'll work hands-on with high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes, optimizing their operation to achieve rapid device miniaturization and mass production of integrated circuits. Your contributions will directly impact safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency, enabling Intel to maintain its leadership in innovation and manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to support integrated circuit production.
- Conduct detailed tests and measurements to ensure control over critical dimensions and defectivity across the process line.
- Recommend and implement process modifications to enhance production efficiencies and manufacturing techniques.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed safety, quality, cost, and productivity goals.
- Collaborate with global counterparts to develop, transfer, and align critical equipment and process parameters for successful factory ramp-ups.
- Manage maintenance and repair activities to ensure equipment readiness and operational reliability.
- Detect and address discrepant materials or equipment activities to prevent excursions.
- Oversee equipment installation, conversion, and qualification processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to manufacturing teams, enhancing technical competency and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree in a specialized field with 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in statistical process control methods and tools.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, process control, and improvement.
- Technical expertise in equipment monitoring, adjustment, and process characterization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and application of Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and problem-solving methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading process optimization and improvement projects across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with group problem-solving, excursion management systems, and semiconductor manufacturing techniques.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex technical data.
- Experience mentoring or leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
