HSE Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Health, Safety and Environment department in Ramos Arizpe.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.
Utilizing understanding of customers' needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with customer requirements.
Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.

Qualifications for the role

You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with safety and legislation and the electrification market
Ability to demonstrate your experience working with multidisciplinary teams / You have experience in safety roles
(OPTIONAL: working as HSE intern)
Possess an enhanced knowledge of microsoft office, power bi tools
You are passionate about helping others and working as a team player
Degree in Chemical, Enviromental or Industrial Engineering
You are at ease communicating in english and spanish to multiple age groups
You hold current ISO auditor certifications in ISO 14001, 45001 & 50001
