Insurance Risk Analyst

About the Team

The Risk Management team sits within the Treasury department and manages CoreWeave’s insurance programs, claims reporting, and exposure aggregation as the company scales. 

We are seeking a high-performing, self-sufficient Analyst to join the team. This position reports to the Senior Global Risk Manager and will support the management of CoreWeave’s insurance programs, claims reporting, exposure aggregation, and other ad-hoc projects. A high level of ownership will be required, as well as the capacity to develop and document scalable processes. You will partner closely with internal teams including Legal, FP&A, Accounts Payable, and EH&S, and you will manage external insurance relationships to facilitate the company’s rapid growth. This position will be based in either Manhattan, NY or Livingston, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the renewal of CoreWeave insurance policies (D&O, property, casualty, and other lines as needed).
• Gather exposure information for insurance renewals as required, ensure accuracy of information reported, and provide variance analysis for year-over-year changes.
• Report and manage claims for property insurance, casualty insurance, and management liability.
• Process timely payments for insurance policies and broker fees as needed.
• Lead policy audits for applicable policies and ensure proper compliance.
• Manage the certificates of insurance process and issue certificates to vendors and partners as needed.
• Maintain a system of policies and procedures that imposes an adequate level of control over treasury activities.
• Verify transaction information, schedule and prepare disbursements, and obtain authorization of payment.
• Develop repeatable and scalable processes for risk management to innovate and improve operations for risk management and insurance.
• Administrative work and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, or relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• 1–2+ years of insurance experience with a broker, carrier, TPA, or agency, or an undergraduate degree in risk and insurance or finance.
• Master proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets, including data manipulation.
• Highly articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision, and highly organized.

The base salary range for this role is $83,000 to $110,000. The starting salary will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
