Manager of Business Intelligence - Mobile (Onsite - Plano, TX)

Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Manager of Business Intelligence (BI) to support and enhance our data strategy, analytics, and operational insights within the Samsung Mobile eXperience (MX) division. This role will focus on driving data-driven decision-making, optimizing business performance, and contributing to the implementation of cutting-edge agentic AI applications to improve consumer/competitor insights and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile Product Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data for mobile products (smartphones and Eco products) to identify trends and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, governed, and trusted data products that align with business objectives.
• Agentic AI Implementation: Support the integration of agentic AI applications to streamline data workflows and enhance consumer/competitor insights.
• Strategic Insights: Assist in analyzing internal and external business environments to identify key issues, assess risks and opportunities, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Actionable Reporting: Help translate complex data and analytics into clear, actionable insights for leadership, supporting informed decision-making.
• Competitive Strategy: Contribute to the development of action plans to strengthen competitiveness by evaluating internal capabilities and processes.

Ideal Candidate:

• A detail-oriented professional with a passion for leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance consumer/competitor insights and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering meaningful business outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: 6+ years in data analysis or business intelligence, with relevant experience in the telecom industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL for database querying, Excel, and BI platforms. Familiarity with agentic AI applications is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Communication: Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
