Ready to help build Amazon's next major business?

Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS) brings together Amazon Shipping, Amazon Freight, and Multi-Channel Fulfillment to transform how businesses move goods through Amazon's logistics and transportation network.

We're evolving Amazon's fulfillment and transportation capabilities into an agile, intelligent supply chain network that helps businesses move products with greater speed, reliability, and efficiency. By connecting capabilities across Shipping, Freight, and Multi-Channel Fulfillment, we're creating a resilient system that continuously optimizes to deliver for every business and every customer.

Every shipment and fulfillment interaction strengthens the flywheel, enhancing our network through scale, density, and intelligence. As we expand our reach, we're building services for businesses beyond Amazon while simultaneously strengthening Amazon's own transportation and fulfillment capabilities, reducing costs and accelerating delivery across the broader ecosystem.

We're hiring a Principal Program Manager who will enhance our ability to deliver customer value with speed and predictability. Your mission is to create clear pathways for teams to rapidly transform customer needs into working solutions while maintaining transparency across our organization. You'll design and implement lightweight mechanisms for regular planning, goal-setting, and portfolio management that accelerate our ability to respond to customer feedback and market opportunities. You'll partner with product and engineering teams across ASCS to establish consistent frameworks that drive accountability while preserving the creativity and autonomy teams need to deliver great outcomes.

Key job responsibilities
Design and execute quarterly planning, OP1/OP2, and goal-setting processes that connect customer needs with team-level execution, resource allocation, and technical roadmaps across ASCS.
Lead the Portfolio Review Board process, providing regular visibility into at-risk projects, emerging issues, and cross-team dependencies while driving data-informed decisions that optimize for customer impact.
Coordinate Entitlement Attribution, ensuring consistent calculation and forecasting of resource utilization across customer-facing initiatives, and partner with finance and leadership to align resource allocations with growth objectives.
Build and refine lightweight planning and reporting mechanisms that surface the right information to the right stakeholders, remove barriers to delivery, and continuously improve based on team feedback and evolving business needs.
Drive cross-functional alignment by authoring clear written updates for senior leadership, facilitating decision-making around customer priorities, and partnering with product, engineering, and operations leaders to keep planning processes focused on outcomes.

A day in the life
You might start the morning reviewing portfolio health and emerging dependencies before working with teams to unblock an at-risk initiative or refine plans for an upcoming quarterly planning cycle. Later, you could be preparing a concise update for senior leadership, aligning capacity assumptions with Finance, or simplifying one of our planning mechanisms to make it more effective. The common thread is creating clarity across a complex organization, helping teams make better decisions quickly, and ensuring we turn customer needs into predictable delivery without adding unnecessary process.

About the team
You'll join a collaborative team at the heart of Amazon Supply Chain Services, working across Product, Technology, Operations, and Finance to help bring together Amazon Shipping, Amazon Freight, and Multi-Channel Fulfillment. The team operates across a broad, fast-moving portfolio, partnering closely with senior leaders and delivery teams to create clarity on priorities, resources, risks, and dependencies. We're focused on building simple, scalable mechanisms that help teams move faster, and you'll have the opportunity to shape how ASCS plans, prioritizes, and delivers as the business continues to grow.
