Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development and ensure communication/implementation of global and regional procurement strategies for ABB's AU indirect materials and services (IM&S) to maximize procurement efficiency.

Each day, you will lead internal stakeholder management across divisions, business areas, and functions in Korea. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring compliance and implementation of procurement activities, procedures, and initiatives in the assigned country. You will also gain the trust of the stakeholders and eventually act as their procurement trusted advisor.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the development and ensures communication and implementation of global and regional procurement strategies for ABB's Indirect Materials and Services(IM&S) to maximize procurement efficiency. Main stakeholders are users from all business areas, group functions hosted in ABB Korea office and manufacturing site.

• Driving compliance to global and regional sourcing strategies in the areas of indirect materials and services to maximize savings.
• Fostering communication internally, externally, and between different global organizations and functions and supports the implementation of procurement activities and initiatives in the region/country through effective communication.
• Leading efforts to achieve client satisfaction with internal stakeholders in the region/country through effective communication and active feedback loops between stakeholders and the Procurement organization.
• Meeting the budgeted function cost and headcount targets at the country level and achieving planned cost reduction on indirect materials and services.

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in Business Partnering or stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Ariba and SAP, with an interest in leveraging AI to improve efficiency.
• Ability to participate in regional and global initiatives in addition to the Business Partnering role in Korea.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Business-level proficiency in English and fluency in Korean.
