Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
AI agents are increasingly building Stripe integrations alongside professional developers and vibe coders. To build and test these integrations safely, without affecting live accounts or moving real funds, agents require isolated sandbox environments.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end product experience for Stripe Sandboxes and the broader testing platform, guiding the journey from a developer's first sandbox creation to an agent validating complex payment flows at scale. Because this role touches the testing workflow of every Stripe product, your work will have company-wide impact.
You will collaborate closely with external developers and internal Stripe teams to translate user feedback into intuitive developer experiences and platform capabilities. Partnering with engineering, design, and user research, you will deliver features that enable every developer on Stripe to build faster and with greater confidence.
What you’ll do
You'll be responsible for product management of Stripe Sandboxes and the testing platform that every developer building on Stripe depends on. You'll deliver platform features that give developers the isolation, simulation, and observability they need to test their integrations with confidence. You'll define the vision and roadmap for how the testing platform evolves to support new use cases, including agentic tooling and new Stripe products.
Responsibilities
- Interact daily with users, Stripe developers, and internal product teams to validate product ideas, requirements, and prototypes
- Partner with engineering and design to ship functionality that delights developers testing their Stripe integrations, balances impact with engineering cost, and delivers measurable results
- Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Stripe Sandboxes and the testing platform
- Define key success metrics
- Work closely with user researchers to test hypotheses and understand user pain points
- Shape how testing and developer experiences adapt with agentic tooling
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products that solve real user problems
- Technical expertise gained through building and owning technical, developer-facing products or tools
- Demonstrated ability to define strategy, set goals, and drive execution across cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous concepts clearly and from first principles
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving different functions, stakeholders, and subject matter experts
Preferred qualifications
- You enjoy using social media to interact directly with customers for feedback
- You've founded a business or startup, taking a product from 0 to 1
- You only ship functionality after you've personally test-driven it and made substantial edits to the documentation

Questions you could be asked
- How do you decide when an AI agent can act on its own versus asking for approval first?
- Describe a typical day in a role like this one: which parts run through AI directly?
- If you removed AI from this role, what would be left, and how do you decide what still needs a human?
Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: AI agents. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Show where AI is part of your daily process, not a one-off project. This role expects it to be a running habit.
