Meet the Team
We are the Product Marketing organization powering Cisco's Data Center, Cloud, and Infrastructure portfolio. Operating as a specialized, centralized Product Marketing team within Portfolio Management, we maintain a close, strategic dotted-line alignment to the engineering and business units building next-generation compute, AI infrastructure, and cloud operations platforms. Our mission is to accelerate customer adoption of AI-ready data centers by unifying computing, high-performance networking, distributed security, and cloud management into full-stack systems. We collaborate directly with premier technology partners-to translate complex hardware and software architectures into market-leading solutions, compelling storytelling, and high-impact Go-to-Market (GTM) motions that shape the future of enterprise infrastructure.
Your Impact
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for AI Infrastructure & Software Ecosystem, you will drive the joint messaging, positioning, and Go-to-Market execution for Cisco's integrated compute and software platforms across virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and AI. In this role, you will be the bridge connecting Cisco's compute with strategic partner ecosystems like Nutanix and Red Hat OpenShift. Your work will directly influence how global enterprises modernize their data centers, deploy containerized workloads, and scale private AI infrastructure efficiently. By defining audience-specific value propositions and delivering high-caliber enablement, you will empower global sales teams and channel partners to win in competitive, fast-evolving markets.
- Joint GTM Strategy & Partner Alignment: Lead joint marketing strategy and campaign execution with strategic partners (Nutanix, Red Hat, and ISVs), aligning roadmaps and joint value propositions across AI, virtualization, and edge computing.
- Core Messaging & Asset Creation: Author and produce high-impact marketing content, including pitch decks, solution briefs, product videos, analyst validation reports, interactive digital content and customer success stories.
- Full-Funnel Sales & Channel Enablement: Partner with sales enablement to develop and validate field-ready sales kits, competitive positioning guides, objection-handling battlecards, and training modules for Cisco and partner sales forces.
- Product Launches & Campaign Execution: Drive end-to-end launch cycles for new joint solutions, orchestrating cross-functional execution across digital marketing, growth marketing, public relations, and event teams.
- Evangelism & Industry Presence: Serve as a subject matter spokesperson for Cisco compute and partner solutions at industry conferences, customer executive briefings, webinars, and partner summits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, combined with 8+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or technical marketing within enterprise technology
- Experience in developing, planning and executing end-to-end product launches or go-to-market (GTM) campaigns for enterprise B2B hardware, software, or cloud solutions.
- Experience marketing enterprise data center infrastructure, compute platforms, virtualization, cloud-native technologies, or hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).
- Experience developing joint go-to-market (GTM) programs, co-branded marketing collateral, or launch campaigns with strategic ISV and technology ecosystem partners (such as Nutanix, Red Hat, or VMware).
- Experience creating technical B2B marketing deliverables, including solution overviews, customer-facing slide decks, white papers, messaging frameworks, and/ or sales enablement collateral.
- Experience presenting technical product concepts and business value propositions at customer briefings, webinars, industry events, or partner conferences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience navigating matrixed cross-functional environments, bridging centralized marketing organizations with dedicated product and engineering business units.
- Experience utilizing market research, customer win/loss data, and competitive telemetry to construct differentiated market positioning.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or an advanced degree in a technical or business discipline.

The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco’s plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.
U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies:
10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees
1 paid day off for employee’s birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco
Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees
Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)
80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next
Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members
Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco’s policies.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

New York City Metro Area:
$171,600.00 - $281,800.00Non-Metro New York state & Washington state:
$151,300.00 - $250,900.00* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.
** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
