Job Description:  

The person hired for the position of Production Operator will work at our 3M Brownwood location.

Responsibilities/The Impact You Will Make in this Role:

As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Adhering to all quality and safety policies, procedures and practices.
• Operating various machines in varying speeds, while maintaining appropriate product specifications.
• Interpreting customer needs by customer specific expectations, with the ability to perform appropriate department processes, while utilizing appropriate tools and material to meet individual customer and quality requirements. 

Your Skills and Expertise:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Required:

• Must possess a High School diploma/GED, or equivalent, (completed and verified prior to start).

• One-year preferred industry or labor experience.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Preferred stable work history.

• Preferred computer knowledge.

• This position may require overtime work, weekends, and holidays.

• This position may require working rotating shifts.

***Applicants meeting the basic qualification above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Employees will start at $21.55 per hour and receive an increase to $24.45 per hour after six months of employment.This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and education.
