AI in this role

The Automated Reasoning team seeks a Program Manager to drive critical initiatives supporting Amazon's Automated Reasoning (AR) community, focusing on building connections between internal teams across Amazon, external academic partnerships, and educational programs. This role requires working closely with AR scientists and leaders while navigating Amazon's culture and business requirements to drive meaningful impact for the AR community.

As a field, automated reasoning answers questions about the future behavior of computer systems: what they might do, what they will do, or what they can never do. Because these tools use mathematical logic, they are capable of providing accurate reasoning about intractably large or possibly unbounded systems, e.g. network behaviors, policy semantics, program state-spaces.

Community Building & Internal Programs
- Manage internal review mechanisms and conferences
- Manage AR Internal Media – Blogs, Slide Decks, Wikis, etc.
- Coordinate AR-oriented Tech Talks and internal educational initiatives
- Coordinate cross-AR leadership communications and meetings
Academic & External Relations
- Manage sponsored research agreements with universities
- Coordinate Amazon Research Awards (ARA) for AR-related proposals
- Manage AR Publication pipeline
- Manage conference and summer school sponsorships from end to end: intake, communication, benefit management, and payment logistics.
Educational & Community Outreach
- Coordinate with centralized Amazon teams (recruiting, HR, Finance etc.) in support of AR scientists
- PhD internship program support
