Job Description:

The role will focus on FPGA architecture, design, verification, and integration for CT. You will work closely with CT control architects, embedded software teams, and global stakeholders to deliver high-performance real-time control solutions for next-generation CT platforms.

You will be fit if:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of FPGA development experience in industrial, medical, communication, imaging, or other high-reliability products.
• Strong proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Hands-on experience with AMD/Xilinx or Intel/Altera FPGA development tools, such as Vivado, Vitis, Quartus, ModelSim, or Questa.
• Solid understanding of synchronous digital design, clock-domain crossing, reset strategies, metastability, and timing constraints.
• Proven experience achieving timing closure on medium- to high-complexity FPGA designs.
• Experience with simulation, debugging, and lab instruments including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
• Strong understanding of FPGA interfaces, memory architectures, DMA concepts, and register-based hardware/software integration.
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows, preferably Git.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-speed transceivers, SERDES, PCIe, DDR3/DDR4, Ethernet, or JESD204 interfaces.
• Experience with image acquisition, real-time image processing, motor control, or data-acquisition systems.
• Experience developing FPGA solutions for medical devices or regulated products.
• Familiarity with functional safety, IEC 62304, IEC 60601, ISO 13485, or design-control processes.
• Experience with FPGA verification methodologies, SystemVerilog assertions, UVM, or formal verification.
• Knowledge of embedded C/C++, Linux drivers, or FPGA SoC platforms such as Zynq or Intel SoC FPGA.
• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineers.
