Lead the APAC Partner Solutions team within Amazon Ads, responsible for helping partners design, build and scale advertising technology solutions. This role will manage solution architects and technical account managers working with diverse partners including Enterprise Resource Planning software systems (ERPs), ISVs, and agencies. The position requires strong technical leadership, business acumen, and the ability to influence both partner and internal stakeholders to drive adoption of Amazon Ads solutions.

Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Lead global team of solution architects supporting advertising technology partners
- Develop and execute technical strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Drive innovation and adoption of new advertising capabilities
- Create frameworks for solution design and delivery at scale
- Build and manage relationships with senior partner leadership
- Influence product strategy and roadmap development

Team Management:
- Hire, develop, and retain high-performing solution architects

Technical Excellence:
- Guide complex solution architectures and implementations
- Review and approve technical proposals

- Create scalable architectural patterns

Cross-organizational Impact:
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business leadership
- Drive alignment across partner development initiatives
Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations

- Lead technical thought leadership initiatives
- Influence industry direction and standards

A day in the life
Your day begins leading team meetings to review complex technical solutions and partner implementations. You meet with partner executives to understand strategic priorities and align Amazon Ads' capabilities with their goals. You coach your solution architects on complex designs, review technical proposals, and provide guidance on implementing new advertising features. Throughout the day, you collaborate with product teams to influence roadmaps based on partner needs, drive operational excellence initiatives, and ensure your team is effectively helping partners leverage Amazon's full suite of advertising technologies. You focus on developing your team while managing stakeholder relationships across the organization.

About the team
The Amazon Ads Partner Solutions team enables partners to build and scale innovative advertising technology solutions. Working with customer data platforms, systems integrators, agency holding companies, independent agencies, ad servers, and retail media platforms, this global team designs and delivers technical solutions that drive partner success. The team combines deep advertising technology expertise with Amazon's latest capabilities, including AI-driven features, to help partners build scalable, secure, and performant solutions. Through technical leadership and close collaboration with product teams, they influence both partner solutions and Amazon Ads product development, driving innovation across the advertising ecosystem.

Basic qualifications

- 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English

Preferred qualifications

- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
- Experience with and deep understanding of advertising technologies (i.e., ad server, DSP)
- 9+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience
- 10+ years of advising and influencing executive leadership experience
- Experience with the AWS platform, web services, software development, or related technologie
- MBA, or 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
- Master's degree or above in engineering, management, or technology, or Bachelor's degree or above in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
