This role will lead product management for the data capabilities that power Amazon's digital businesses. You will own the strategy in moving toward standardized interfaces, agentic workflows, and the evaluation and guardrails that make AI outputs trustworthy for non-technical consumers and their agents. You will define product requirements and partner with engineering, Data Science, and stakeholder teams across DA and the Amazon Digital businesses to deliver an impactful product.

Our team builds the critical data and intelligence systems that power businesses like Books, Prime Video, and Amazon Music. As a Senior Product Manager, Technical, you will help shape the future of Amazon Digital. We are looking for someone with real AI-native fluency (RAG, embeddings, text-to-SQL, agentic workflows, LLM evaluation and guardrails) who is equally comfortable going deep on datasets, model behavior, data quality, and experimentation frameworks.

In this role, you will tackle complex challenges at the intersection of AI, data platforms, and product management. You will be instrumental in building interfaces through which client agents consume trusted data and insights, so that each capability we build is immediately usable by every client's agent ecosystem.

We are looking for someone who is customer focused, technically deep in data science and AI, and passionate about making Amazon's digital businesses smarter by connecting once rather than building per client.

About the team
Digital Acceleration’s (DA) vision is “to be a complete e-commerce product for Digital businesses through self-service and extensibility, by simplifying the digital lifecycle and delivering a bar-raising customer experience”. We power the commerce engine behind Prime, Amazon Video, Music, Audible, Alexa, Kindle, and other digital businesses. Our systems process billions of digital purchases annually, enabling growth and expansion for Amazon's digital businesses globally. Our mission is to be Earth's leading provider of one-time and recurring digital commerce solutions, delivering a seamless and enjoyable post-purchase experience for all customers.

Basic qualifications

- 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred qualifications

- Experience in building analytic or scientific data products or solutions
- Experience working effectively with science, data processing, and software engineering teams
- Experience in an engineering or delivery role for a large enterprise
- Hands-on fluency with AI-native techniques: RAG, embeddings, text-to-SQL, agentic workflows, and LLM evaluation and guardrails
- Experience defining programmatic or agentic interfaces through which applications or agents consume data and insights
- Experience with a Data-as-a-Product operating model: data contracts, governance, lineage, quality, and observability
- SQL fluency and experience working directly with large-scale data
- Experience building and driving adoption of new tools across multiple stakeholder teams

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
