Shop employee - Sete Rios Bus Station (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team in Portugal, we are looking for a motivated and driven Shop Employee (m/f/d) for our FlixBus Shop at the Sete Rios Bus Station. You will support the day-to-day running of the shop, deliver high-quality service to our passengers, and help ensure smooth operations throughout your shift. This is a shift-based role, with shifts scheduled across the full week, including weekdays and weekends.

About the Role

• Provide high-quality service to passengers, including assistance with boarding, transfers, travel disruptions such as delays, and clear travel information in Portuguese and English 
• Manage ticket sales, provide after sale services, and daily cash handling in the Flix Shop 
• Manage reservations, cancellations and adjust bookings in case of delays or changes, communicating with passengers and partners when needed, handle unexpected situations with minimal impact 
• Support smooth station operations by coordinating with dispatchers and station teams during check-in and helping ensure correct luggage handling and passenger flow 
• Assist drivers with mobile apps and ticket control, and help resolve issues to meet FlixBus quality and safety standards 
• Inspect bus stops and surrounding infrastructure to ensure timetables, signage, and other elements meet FlixBus standards, coordinating updates or repairs when needed 

About You

• Previous experience in customer service, transportation, logistics, or administration 
• Proactive and self-motivated, taking ownership of tasks and working independently with minimal supervision 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Resilient and calm under pressure, able to stay focused and solution-oriented during busy periods and unexpected disruptions 
• A strong team player who communicates openly, supports colleagues, and contributes to a positive shift atmosphere 
• Comfortable with computers and digital tools 
• Willing to work according to a shift schedule established with the team, which may include evenings, weekends, or early mornings 
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; other languages are a strong advantage
