Your role will focus on designing and developing next-generation state-of-the-art AI capabilities to support our architectural transformation and modernization efforts.

 As a valued member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering new capabilities using the latest technologies and processes. This involves actively developing code, as well as debugging and reviewing with the team. You'll also have the chance to work closely with our talented engineers and interact with our valued business partners, fostering an inclusive and respectful atmosphere.

Responsibilities:  

• Self driven & self-starter; works with minimal guidance from the leaders
• Contributes to solution of complex business problems 
• Analyzes information, asks questions and checks for understanding

• Collaborates with others on projects and works on all features from technical design through completion. 
• Applies agile engineering practices ; Implements AI-first mindset in all aspects
• Participates & owns delivery of technical design features with guidance. 
• May apply understanding of how related features in a product solves one or more customer needs. 
• Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process without additional supervision or guidance. 
• Conducts code reviews and addresses code review feedback. 
• Executes tests for scale, reliability and velocity within own code. 
• Applies depth of knowledge in secure coding principles and reviews others' code for compliance. 
• Monitors and triages incident reports and participates in postmortems and potential on-call duties. 
• Shares knowledge from independent learning with the team. 
• Estimates time to complete assignments and communicates status, blockers, and delays to the team. 
• Identifies paths to eliminate blockers and meet deadlines when needed. 
• Collaborates with team members to share learnings or assist in problem solving/resolution. 
• Proactively identifies company needs, department needs & organization needs and takes actions where required. 
• Continuously looks to evolve Cisco’s technology position as compared to market and takes appropriate actions
• May serve as escalation point on several topics
• Leads RCA / Post-mortem and writes Root-Cause-Analysis
• Becomes a Subject-Matter-Expert on all topics worked on.

Minimum Qualifications:

• • Bachelors + 7 years of related experience OR Masters + 4 years of related experience OR PhD + 1 year of related experience. 
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to decipher large complex problem in smaller manageable chunks to solution
  • Languages: Python, Java/J2EE, C++, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML/XSLT, Oracle PL/SQL
  • Automation/DevOps: Git, Jenkins, REST APIs, React JS, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Cloud/Database: AWS (Foundations/Architecting), Oracle 19c and above, Snowflake, Splunk.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain
  • Expertise in usage of Cursor, Git-hub co-pilot, Claude or one of the LLM driven software building techniques
  • Expertise in understanding of ’Token’ and ’Tokenomics'
  • Expertise in prompt engineering
  • Knowledge of the workings of LLM, Cosine similarity, embeddings & weights
  • Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agentic solutions
  • Knowledge of any Oracle E-Business (ERP) suite module
  • Knowledge of No-SQL databases, Elastic search, and Kafka

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong executive communications & presentation skills
• Experience in handling diverse stakeholder groups of varying temperament
• amiliarity with cloud services such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Azure. 

• AWS Professionals, Gen AI Black belt.

• Data science green belt, Security green belt.

• Docker & Kubernetes.

• Certified Scrum Master with a strong Agile mindset.

• Enterprise Data management

• Good Time management skills and personal branding awareness.

• Excellent Understanding of Supply/Demand Planning, Sourcing, Contract Manufacturing ecosystem and supply chain business.

• Experience with REACT, RPA technologies, Oracle, Mongo, Snowflake.

• Advanced prompt engineering skills.

• Over 5 years of experience with full-stack development, design, and technically leading application development.

• Certifications in Java, DB, Cloud, AWS and AI/ML.
