A day in the life
At its core, this role is about designing and developing the learning content that gets advertisers certified on Amazon Ads. You'll build eLearning courses from scratch, write certification exam items, and create storyboards that map out every interaction and visual. Most days look like collaborating with SMEs to get the technical details right, scripting video modules, or refining assessment questions so they actually measure what matters. You'll review learner data to spot what's not landing and iterate quickly. Some days you'll go beyond the usual, using AI to speed up content production or exploring motion graphics to make learning engaging.

Questions you could be asked
- Tell me about a project where instructional design was part of your work. What did you do?

Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, E Learning, Content Creation, and Psychometrics. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them — a tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Put the AI tool in a bullet point about what you did, not just in a skills list — this role treats it as a required part of the job.
