We are looking for a Strategic Marcom Manager to join the Emerging & Expansion Geographies Marcom Team. Our team supports hundreds of DSPs who engage thousands of drivers across the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific regions to deliver millions of packages per week through our Last Mile delivery network.

The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator and marketer with strategic business and analytics acumen, and excellent writing ability. Exercising extremely high judgment in narrow time frames, particularly by injecting logic and care into strategic content targeted at DSP prospects and existing DSPs, is critical.

You will Insist on the Highest Standards regarding DSP-facing communications and content. You will rapidly Earn Trust with multiple cross-functional partners, including program managers, product managers, and executives. You will be a thought leader who indexes high on emotional intelligence. You will bring in fresh ideas to simplify and scale our marcom processes. You will have a passion for creating content to capture the many wonderful stories to be found in this innovative space. Our environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate who has a high Bias for Action and thrives in ambiguity.

This role is a unique hybrid of B2B Comms and External Marketing.

• Develop a multi-channel content strategy for new program, technology and product launches, including written communications, executive messaging, infographics, and video
• Translate complex messaging into simple and easy-to-understand content
• Interview DSPs (Delivery Service Partners) and build advocacy and testimonial stories to promote the program as entrepreneurial opportunity of choice
• Identify emerging topics and develop proactive plans with stakeholders
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications


A day in the life
We write a lot and "are right a lot"! We respond to business needs and develop content to reach new DSPs and enhance the experience of existing ones with an eye toward measurement and maximizing performance. We also interview DSPs across their lifecycle to build compelling peer-to-peer insights that spins the DSP Lifecycle flywheel. We own multiple channels by which we communicate to our DSP prospects and DSP Owners. We partner effectively with other content creator teams at Amazon to bring consistency and amplify our storytelling efforts.


About the team
The Emerging & Expansion Geographies Marcom Team comprises eight high performing Communicators. Even though we are based in different cities across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, we have a highly inclusive and collaborative culture. We approach each other with respect and humility and have fun making history, together. DSPs count on us to provide helpful and trustworthy information so they can operate their business efficiently and focus on what matters most to them. Internal teams count on us to source and secure new DSPs into the program and help nurture their development.

Basic qualifications

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience delivering paid media campaigns spanning TV, print ads and digital/social channels
- Experience creating visual assets for digital, mobile, and social

Preferred qualifications

- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
- Experience creating customer-facing content, such as copywriting, scriptwriting, jingle writing or comedy writing
