Job Summary: 
We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Group Manager with focus on Interior Cockpit components (such as, instrument panel assemblies, center consoles, door panels, etc). The Group Manager manages a team of Global Supply Managers focused on these commodities and associated supporting interior cockpit components. The role is a key internal interface with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing to deliver world class products on time and cost effectively.  The Group Manager must identify, develop, and manage the global Supply Chain for their team and manage against the overall Supply Chain team and company priorities. They will help establish our global supply chain strategy, support cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases and drive sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle. 

You Will: 

• Supply chain experience within interior components / assemblies 
• Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals 
• Present upward status of objectives, strategies, and remedies to issues 
• Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers with the right qualifications to meet Lucid’s expectations and timeline 
• Create RFQs, review, analyze and clarify quotations from suppliers and develop sound sourcing and business recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time and technical considerations 
• Thoroughly negotiate favorable contracts including parts pricing, tooling costs and Engineering Services (NRE / EDT) 
• Work with suppliers and Engineering to release parts into production and issue POs for Prototype/Production Parts and Prototype/Production Tooling 
• Manage supplier development and tooling timelines, part availability for prototype builds/start of production and develop solutions to delays or problems that arise 
• Maintain overall supplier relationships and act as point of contact for all commercial issues, including internal report-outs summarizing sourcing status, parts availability and cost status 
• Travel 15-25% to visit suppliers to perform business and program reviews 

You Bring: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical/Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or related field. MBA or master's degree is a plus 
• Minimum 8 years Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing or Engineering experience on relevant commodity 
• Product launch experience from design concept to production (not limited to automotive industry) 
• Understanding of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis. 
• Able to show teamwork to resolve problems and a thought process to drive successful solutions 
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Passion for results, strategy, and hands on execution. 
• Creative, calculated risk taker with the ability to manage complex suppliers and resolve disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal staff 
• Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities 
• Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) 
• Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively 
• Ownership and commitment to your role and supporting teams’ success 

Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.  Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
