10 to 14 Years of strong design and industrial experience in Aerospace Structures
CATIA, Creo DFM, Jigs and Fixtures Structural analysis (static, modal analysis, shocks, vibrations), Stack Up Analysis
Job Responsibilities:
- You will be an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a degree or equivalent, who have a solid understanding of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering principals and of Engineering Development lifecycles.
- Demonstrable experience in operating within highly regulated sectors, ideally Space, Defence or Aerospace.
- Working knowledge of Catia V5 and PLM software (Enovia preferred). Fundamental understanding of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering principals
- Good understanding of Engineering Development lifecycles.
- Perform Hand calculations to validate the structural and thermal design
- Perform concept review and design review (PDR, CDR)
- Good general knowledge of mechanical design and conception
- Ensure designs meet manufacturing, assembly, and integration requirements. Good experience in BOM creation and Engineering Change processes (with consideration given to implications of changes managing through the process) Solid understanding of drawing standards
- Working knowledge of Geometric Tolerancing best practice
- Familiarity with FEA tools.
