NVIDIA is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) for our Enterprise Network Engineering and Infrastructure teams. Our customer base consists of hundreds of deeply intelligent engineers who continually provide us with complex problems to be solved. The highly experienced TPM will provide architectural alignment and technical mentorship. They will also manage projects to develop and operate our end-to-end solutions across company locations and data center facilities. This operation is a key foundation upon which our solutions are delivered to support our customers. Having depth and breadth knowledge of supporting the teams that operate a complex backbone infrastructure that serves a wide scope of environments is a strength you'll need.
You should have an engineering approach with deep knowledge and experience in three core areas: Project Alignment across IT engineering programs, Process Alignment to improve efficiency, and continuous Gap Analysis on your deliverables. What you will be doing:
- Apply your engineering approach to guide architects in different regions. Help remove roadblocks, prioritize deliverables, and deliver projects and builds on time related to our Office and Data Center portfolio..
- Review engineering designs (and highlight recommendations/risks) to ensure functionality will align with business requirements to address opportunities as efficiently as possible.
- Work cross functionally with Enterprise Network Deployment (END) and associated teams to prioritize initiatives to deliver designs that need to be released for our office and datacenter fleet. .
- Give input on architectures and guideline processes regarding the development and implementation of our network refresh initiatives and new builds..
- Drive data-driven strategies across engineering to ensure alignment cross-functionally emphasizing cost optimization and prioritization.
- Provide input on design changes and ensure they align with current and future IT infrastructure requirements.
- Identify problems, drive cross-functional solutions, and sustain relationships with related technical teams. Build relationships with partners, vendors and collaborate to improve engineering processes.
- Apply process control to continuously improve the engineering delivery and contribute to the overall improvement and operation of the infrastructure designs and deployments.
- Develop and support frameworks for definition and alignment of infrastructure solutions across the engineering organization.
What we need to see:
- Bachelors or equivalent experience in network engineering or computer science
- 12+ years of relevant work experience as a network engineer or a TPM supporting Network Engineering at scale.
- Detail oriented with an attested ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements
- Hands on experience in deploying network solutions with a focus on Office and Data center buildouts at scale.
- Ability to create scalable design footprints as it relates to Enterprise network for Offices and Data Center
- Strength working independently and actively with minimal direction
- Able to work with resources across multiple time zones
- Excellent communication and technical presentation skills
- Working knowledge of industry standard configuration management tools
- Knowledge of operating systems, embedded principles and standards
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- PMP Certification a strong plus
- 8+ years background in network engineering focused on office and/or datacenter deployments.
