Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support your unit in achieving the set production targets. Each day, you will perform workshop tasks such as troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and testing in adherence to the relevant systems and processes. You will also showcase your expertise by executing work as per first-time right approach and ensuring the job is done on time and as per quality standards.

The work model for the role is: Onsite # LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Drives & Inverter Motion Services division in South Korea.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing workshop orders as per workshop processes and guidelines.

• Checking bill of materials and other documents to identify required parts needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available.

• Using machinery and equipment on the shop floor as instructed.

• Reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field  

• Over 5 years of experience in drives (inverters) and power electronics troubleshooting; experience with ABB drives preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs

• Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally

• Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in both English and Korean (written and spoken)
