The Corporate Actions team sits within Investing Operations, the group responsible for how Wealthsimple manages client positions across billions of dollars in assets. We own the full life cycle of corporate actions and dividends on client accounts — processing entitlements, elections, and payments, and reconciling every position so our records match what clients are owed. It's precise, deadline-driven work, and we take it seriously because clients are trusting us with their money.

Reporting to the Team Lead of Corporate Actions, you'll own the daily processing of corporate actions and dividends across client accounts. This work protects client assets directly, so accuracy isn't optional — you're the person who catches a reconciliation break before it becomes a client-facing problem, and who improves the processes that keep pace as the business grows.

• Own the daily processing of corporate actions and dividends across client accounts, catching and resolving discrepancies before they reach clients

• Work directly with Operations Associates to keep our records accurate for clients

• Act as the team's subject matter expert on tax issues related to corporate actions and dividends

• Partner with the Trade Desk, securities lending, management, and other teams to escalate and resolve critical issues and reduce risk

• Analyze the impact of new product launches on corporate actions and dividend processes, and make the changes they require

• Troubleshoot, manage, and proactively resolve reconciliation differences

• Use data to find the cause of inefficiencies and fix them

• Develop processes to increase the efficiency of our back-office operations.

• 2+ years at a broker-dealer handling back-office corporate action processing for equities and options (CIRO-regulated dealer preferred)

• Experience working with CDS, DTC, OCC, and CDCC

• Strong Excel skills

• Comfortable with large data sets — you can take thousands of rows of position or entitlement data, find the breaks, and explain what caused them

• Progress toward or completion of CSC, DFOL, or similar industry courses

• Familiarity with programming, especially SQL

• Familiarity with Claude AI or Claude Code

• Naturally curious — when something looks off, you want to know why

• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work accurately against tight, non-negotiable deadlines

• Excellent people skills and a positive attitude — you'll be working in a highly collaborative environment

• Willing to escalate early when something needs it, rather than sitting on it

• Genuinely interested in how markets and technology intersect
