What Will You Achieve

As an Associate, you will participate in projects, providing guidance on risk mitigation strategies, advising on compliance matters, developing training materials, conducting security awareness campaigns, and assisting in the development of policies and procedures.

In this role, you will:

• Provide security representation to business and technology solution projects in support of the security consultancy services to ensure secure outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Work with subject matter experts to assist in the implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance  and support incident response activities, including investigation and remediation of security incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security awareness and training programs.
• Produce security risk management KPIs and metrics to drive risk reduction and excellence.
• Acquire threat intelligence and technical indicators from internal and external sources.
• Contribute to project tasks and/or milestones, organizing your own work to meet deadlines.
• Make decisions within limited options to resolve basic problems, working under the supervisor's direction.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• Bachelor's degree and up to 2 years of relative experience
• Basic understanding of information security principles and practices.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to convey technical information verbally and written to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

• Experience with computer operating systems, programming and/or scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
