Customer Service Lending (CSL) is the public face of CommBank, delivering simpler, safer and better banking experiences to more than 10 million personal and small business customers.
As part of our Workplace & Employee Banking team, you'll help build and grow partnerships with organisations across Australia, connecting their employees with specialist home lending solutions and creating value for customers, partners and the Bank.

As a Business Development Manager, you'll build and manage corporate partnerships that generate quality home lending opportunities.
Working closely with Home Lenders and stakeholders across the Bank, you'll develop trusted relationships, identify opportunities within your portfolio and help deliver great experiences for our workplace partners and their employees.
You'll use your business development capability, customer focus and understanding of home lending to build a strong pipeline and support sustainable business growth.
You'll be responsible for
- Building and managing corporate partnerships that create long-term value for customers, partners and the Bank.
- Developing trusted relationships with external partners, Home Lenders and stakeholders across CommBank.
- Building a pipeline of quality home lending opportunities through Workplace & Employee Banking partnerships.
- Supporting Workplace Banking launches, partner engagement activities and ongoing relationship management.
- Promoting CommBank's Workplace & Employee Banking offering to prospective and existing partners.
- Understanding the needs of partners and identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships and grow your portfolio.
- Using data and business insights to understand performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Working closely with Home Lenders to connect customers with the right home lending support and deliver a seamless experience.
- Taking ownership of partner needs and challenges, working collaboratively to deliver effective solutions.
- Managing risk and ensuring activity is delivered in line with Bank policies, regulatory requirements and relevant referral standards.
- Looking for opportunities to simplify processes and continuously improve the way we work.
We're interested in hearing from people who have
- Experience in business development, relationship management or a similar customer-focused role.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of home lending and the residential lending process.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- The ability to identify opportunities, build a pipeline and deliver quality business outcomes.
- A customer-first mindset and the ability to balance customer, partner and commercial outcomes.
- Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- Confidence using technology, data and business insights to support customer and business outcomes.
- Financial services experience or tertiary qualifications in business, finance, economics, marketing or a related discipline.
