FIELD MARKETING MANAGER SURGERY Johnson & Johnson MedTech – Switzerland

 

We are seeking a dynamic Field Marketing Manager to support our Surgery division, playing a key role in expanding our market presence and delivering innovative solutions to our customers. Objectives of the Position

  • Strategy & Portfolio: Own the Swiss marketing strategy for the assigned platform by driving portfolio performance, pricing, product lifecycle, and profitable growth.
  • Market Insights: Analyze customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends to identify, size, and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Go-to-Market: Translate strategy into clear positioning, value propositions, campaigns, product launches, and annual marketing plans tailored to the Swiss market.
  • Customer & Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with compelling messaging, tools, and training while supporting customer engagement through events and education programs.
  • KOL Management: Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders and surgeon communities to generate insights, strengthen advocacy, and support strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Performance & Budget Management: Define KPIs, track portfolio and campaign performance, manage the marketing budget, and optimize investments based on business impact.
  • Cross-functional Execution: Partner with sales, local leadership, EMEA and global marketing, and external agencies to execute plans, track impact, and deliver measurable business results.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field or marketing, with 5+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in medical devices; experience in Surgery and/or Enabling Technology is preferred.
  • Languages & Mobility: Fluency in English and German; French and/or Italian are an advantage. Valid driver’s licence required.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership, project management, and entrepreneurial skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across matrix teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Digital Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and AI tools, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

 

What you will need to succeed

  • Demonstrates strong initiative and follow through in executing project responsibilities, overcoming obstacles and balancing multiple priorities effectively through strong technical and/or project leadership experience is preferred.
  • Good communication skills - The ability to effectively communicate concepts, ideas and knowledge to upper management, other individuals, customers, e.g. Health Care Professionals and/ or teams across the organization is required.
  • Demonstrated creative design ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage a varied workload.

 

The position is located in Zug, Switzerland and requires travel up to 25% of the time
