Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Head of Finance Strategy and People Transformation  (f/m) to join our Finance Transformation department based in Toulouse, France.

Operating transversely across the Finance function, the Head of Finance Strategy & Innovation will partner with the Finance Management Board and extended leadership teams to shape the AI-powered future of Finance. Leading a dynamic department, you will orchestrate the digital and workforce transformation strategy, enabled through research- and benchmark-led innovation, change management, strategic communication, and community orchestration.

• Drive Executive Alignment: Facilitate strategic discussions with the Finance Management Board and extended leadership teams, infusing outside-in perspectives to steer the strategic evolution of Finance.
• Define Digital & Workforce Transformation Strategy: Oversee the strategy definition, synthesising inputs from Finance leadership, while collaborating with domain-specific Finance Transformation teams and the Digital organisation.
• Steer Organisational & Cultural Change: Set the change management framework for major Finance transformation projects and oversee transversal change initiatives. 
• Drive Talent Readiness & Capability Building: Link with the Finance Academy to develop and implement competency and learning strategy in Finance. Steer Finance workforce upskilling initiatives (such as bootcamps, hackathons and innovation days) to build future-ready skills.
• Sponsor the Vision of an AI-Powered Finance Function: Oversee initiatives that integrate emerging capabilities into Finance roles and operating models.
• Lead the Strategy & Innovation Team: Direct, coach, and inspire a dynamic, multicultural department.

• At least 10 years experience in Finance domain expertise, paired with a clear vision for the strategic evolution of Finance, encompassing digital, AI, and workforce transformation.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation and change programmes within complex, global organisations, preferably complemented by a management consulting background.
• Proven ability to build, direct, and inspire high-performing, multicultural teams, fostering a spirit of innovation and pioneering new ways of working.
• Fluency in English at a negotiation level;
• Demonstrated success in partnering with executive leaders, influencing, building consensus, and navigating matrixed structures.
• Proven ability to navigate corporate ambiguity with ease, infusing a growth mindset, momentum, and strategic focus to deliver tangible impact. 
• Ability to dynamically reprioritise team deliverables in response to shifting business needs, balancing high-paced delivery with empathetic leadership.
• Ability to drive cross-divisional collaboration, bringing a business-partnering, service-oriented mindset to internal stakeholder relationships.
