This is a great opportunity to build your knowledge of energy portfolio management while working with trading, sales and finance teams. You will help monitor customer positions, maintain accurate portfolio information and support day-to-day hedging and deal capture activities. Summary of what you will do

- Manage flexible customer requests promptly, including pricing, deal execution, and accurate recording of transactions across all relevant systems.
- Produce and maintain daily forward curves and forward curve pricing models.
- Monitor and reconcile customer positions to ensure consistency across systems and with trading counterparties.
- Lead analytical work to support the development and optimisation of hedging strategies and business processes.
- Liaise with forecasting, sales, and portfolio management teams to maintain a consistent view of portfolio gains and losses.
- Ensure full adherence to internal risk frameworks, OTC Pricing Policy, and balancing processes.
What you will bring to the role
- A solid understanding of hedging, deal capture processes and energy retail products, or a strong interest and willingness to develop your knowledge in these areas.
- Strong numerical ability and confidence working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience in energy markets or forward trading would be an advantage; however, we also welcome candidates with a strong interest in developing their knowledge in these areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong analytical and modelling skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with experience managing external customers and third-party intermediaries.
- A degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
Location
Hybrid working arrangement based from our Leeds office (min of 2 days per week), combining office collaboration with remote flexibility.
What We Offer
- A stimulating role at the centre of energy trading and portfolio management, with real commercial impact.
- A diverse range of missions across hedging, analytics, customer management, and strategy development.
- A friendly and collaborative work environment where your contributions are recognised and valued.
- A hybrid working model that supports flexibility and a healthy work-life balance.
- Strong career development opportunities within ENGIE's Supply & Energy Management business, with access to a global network of energy expertise.
