Job Purpose
To conduct field visits to customers for the collection of overdue payments, delivery of collection notices where applicable, verification of customer whereabouts, and support recovery activities while ensuring compliance with the Bank's collection policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical collection practices.
Key Result Areas
• Visit customers at their residential or business addresses to collect overdue payments.
• Facilitate payment through approved digital or banking channels wherever possible.
• Collect cash or cheques only if specifically authorized by the Bank and strictly in accordance with established cash-handling procedures. Issue official payment receipts for any authorized physical collections.
• Encourage customers to make timely payments and explain available payment options.
• Obtain and record customer payment commitments (Promise to Pay – PTP).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree.
• Valid motorcycle driving license.
• Ability to ride safely and travel extensively within assigned areas.
Technical Skills
• Basic knowledge of collection processes.
• Ability to use mobile applications and handheld devices.
• Basic MS Office skills.
• Familiarity with digital payment methods.
• Route planning and time management.
Experience
• 2-3 years of experience in field collections, recovery, courier services, or customer-facing field operations.
• Experience in banking or financial services.
Competency
• Integrity and honesty.
• Customer service orientation.
• Self-motivated and disciplined.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Physical fitness for field duties.
