Life Claims Assessor

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Life Claims Assessor based in Canada.

This role is responsible for assessing and managing Group Life, AD&D, Survivor Income, and Compassionate Assistance Program claims.
You will review coverage, eligibility, documentation, contract provisions, and beneficiary information to determine appropriate claim outcomes.
The position combines analytical assessment, benefit calculation, documentation, decision-making, and customer service.
You will communicate sensitive decisions to claimants, beneficiaries, and group clients with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
The role also involves supporting plan sponsors and families with claim requirements and documentation throughout the process.
Working remotely within a customer-focused environment, you will manage priorities independently while collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.
