As a Module Equipment Technician, you will play an essential role in supporting Intel's cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and calibration of advanced equipment in a cleanroom environment. By ensuring optimal equipment performance, you will directly contribute to improving production efficiency and driving Intel's technology advancements.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in manufacturing equipment.
Perform equipment setup, calibration, corrective and preventive maintenance, focusing on wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum toolsets.
Analyze tool performance data to identify and resolve reliability issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to enhance equipment functionality and streamline processes.
Document maintenance activities, repair findings, and parts usage using established systems and protocols.
Lead or support continuous improvement projects, such as root cause analysis and equipment optimization initiatives.
Operate in a cleanroom environment while maintaining full cleanroom attire and adhering to safety protocols.

Shift Hours: Employees working Shift 6 start their shift at 6:00 PM and finish at 6:00 AM Alternating Work Weeks: Alternating 3-Day Work Week (Wed, Thurs, Fri) and 4-Day Work Week (Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat).

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with 2+ years of experience.
- Associate degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related discipline.
- HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 4+ years Field Service Engineer level semiconductor maintenance experience
- HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 6+ years related hands on experience including military technical experience

This position requires:
- Lift 25-pound parts 1-2 times per shift (on average)
- Climb and perform work on ladders 1-3 times per shift (on average)
- Standing and walking for up to 80% of the workday.

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation of electromechanical equipment in semiconductor manufacturing.
Proficiency with wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum equipment in manufacturing or research environments.
Skilled in using electrical/mechanical measuring devices such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, and micrometers.
Read and interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with hand tools, such as torque wrenches, for equipment repair.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $60,450.00-116,640.00 USD (Hourly Role)
