Join AWS Marketing as a Marketing Trainee — a role built for a new generation of marketers who think AI-first and lead with data. This isn’t a traditional entry-level position: you’ll be embedded in real marketing workflows from day one, learning the full lifecycle of cloud marketing while actively reimagining how work gets done through AI-native tools and practices.
With 1+ year of marketing experience, you’ll work alongside experienced marketers to support multi-channel programs that drive AWS marketing initiatives. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to audience targeting, performance metrics, and campaign operations — and you’ll be expected to challenge the status quo by bringing AI-powered workflows, automation ideas, and data-driven experimentation into everything you touch. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just use AI tools — but thinks in AI.
If you’re ready to launch your marketing career at one of the world’s most innovative technology companies — and help define what next-generation marketing looks like — we want to hear from you.

Key job responsibilities
• Support the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns — including digital, events, and content programs — that drive AWS tech/AI adoption and customer engagement
• Assist in developing and coordinating campaign assets and materials, ensuring consistency with AWS brand standards and messaging guidelines
• Track, compile, and report on campaign performance metrics, providing clear summaries to support data-driven decision-making by the broader marketing team
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders — including sales, product, and partner teams — to align marketing activities with business objectives and customer needs
• Conduct research on target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform campaign strategy and content development
• Support the coordination of marketing events, including logistics, vendor liaison, and on-site or virtual execution, to deliver high-quality customer and partner experiences
• Assist in managing marketing tools, platforms, and databases to ensure accurate audience segmentation, campaign tracking, and reporting
• Contribute to team projects and continuous improvement initiatives, bringing fresh perspectives and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Champion an AI-first approach in daily work: proactively identify opportunities to replace or streamline existing workflows with AI-powered solutions, and share learnings with the team to raise the collective capability

Basic qualifications

- • 1+ year of experience in marketing or digital marketing, with demonstrated interest and aptitude in technology marketing
- • Demonstrated AI-native mindset — able to show concrete examples of using AI tools (e.g., generative AI, prompt engineering, AI-assisted analytics) to solve real work problems, not just familiarity with concepts
- • Proven storytelling ability — experience crafting compelling narratives that translate complex ideas or data into clear, engaging messages for target audiences
- • Proven ability to support marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, events, and content
- • Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking and reporting campaign metrics

Preferred qualifications

- • 2+ years of experience in technology marketing, with direct exposure to cloud, SaaS, or enterprise technology sectors
- • Track record of building or redesigning workflows using AI tools — e.g., automating reporting pipelines, using AI for content generation at scale, or building AI-assisted research processes that measurably improved efficiency
- • Experience producing multi-format storytelling content (written, visual, video) that drove measurable audience engagement or conversion outcomes
- • Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute campaign components end-to-end, beyond a supporting role
- • Advanced analytical capability — experience with marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, DOMO, Google Analytics) and ability to derive strategic insights, not just report metrics
- • Experience leading or facilitating cross-functional collaboration across sales, product, and partner teams, with evidence of influencing outcomes beyond your immediate scope
- • Excellent bilingual (English/Mandarin) communication skills with the ability to localize messaging across markets
- • Working knowledge of AWS services or competing cloud platforms, with the ability to articulate basic value propositions to non-technical audiences

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Prompt Engineering, Marketing Operations, Campaign Management, AI Workflow Automation, and Data Driven Marketing. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them — a tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
  • Put the AI tool in a bullet point about what you did, not just in a skills list — this role treats it as a required part of the job.
