Job Profile Summary

Leads and further develops Portfolio Management and PMO / Project Excellence across Motion IS, providing Business Area-level oversight while enabling strong portfolio ownership within the Divisions. The role establishes and maintains effective portfolio and project management foundations, governance and standards, and drives continuous improvement of project management practices across Motion IS.It also leads the Motion IS Project Management community, strengthening PM capability through knowledge sharing, coaching, certification and development activities. As part of the Motion IS Operational Excellence team, the role may also lead selected projects and smaller initiatives aligned with Motion IS priorities.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Strong expertise in IT/IS portfolio governance, prioritization, strategic alignment, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Proven track record in developing and enhancing PMO frameworks, project governance models, and project quality practices.
• Skilled in managing portfolio risks, dependencies, opportunities, and executive-level reporting.
• Extensive experience driving project management excellence, standardization, and process simplification.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and developing Project Management communities, coaching PMs, and supporting capability development initiatives.
• Effective collaborator with business leaders, PMOs, external partners, and global teams to ensure successful portfolio and project delivery.
• Experienced Portfolio & PMO leader with proven expertise in enterprise portfolio governance, strategic prioritization, risk and dependency management, and driving alignment between business objectives and IT/IS initiatives while ensuring transparency, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Strong track record of establishing and enhancing PMO frameworks, project governance, quality assurance, and delivery standards, while leading continuous improvement initiatives, simplifying processes, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and best practices.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading Project Management communities through coaching, capability development, resource planning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership on portfolio health, PMO effectiveness, and project delivery excellence.

Qualifications for the role :

• Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or related field, with 10 -15 years equivalent experience.
• Strong foundation in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or related disciplines, with deep expertise in portfolio management, strategic planning, and governance across complex IT/IS environments.
• Proven experience leading project and program delivery of varying size and complexity, leveraging a strong analytical and data-driven approach to transform portfolio and project data into actionable insights and management reporting.
• Hands-on experience with PMO and portfolio management tools such as Power BI and Power Apps, driving dashboarding, reporting, automation, process simplification, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset with expertise in governance frameworks, project standards, risk management, compliance, and the pragmatic application of PMO best practices to enhance delivery excellence.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, coaching, and influencing skills, with experience developing Project Management communities, building organizational capabilities, and holding recognized project management certifications such as PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
