Principal AI Product Manager, Agentic Governance
AI in this role
Lead product strategy and roadmapping for Adobe's new Agentic Governance category, defining permissions and guardrails for AI agents.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Principal AI Product Manager to lead the charge in building Agentic Governance within Adobe's Experience Platform team in Bucharest. You'll define how enterprises grant identity, permissions, and accountability to AI agents, protecting millions of customer records along the way. This role gives you the chance to create a brand-new product category from the ground up. You will partner closely with engineering and security leaders. You will also develop how the industry thinks about trustworthy AI.
What you'll do
- Define the strategy and roadmap for how Adobe governs AI agents, from identity and permissions to accountability, and turn it into shipped product.
- Meet regularly with enterprise customers to run discovery sessions, and capture their governance and compliance needs in clear PRDs.
- Translate customer use cases into detailed requirements, then partner with engineering to specify exactly how agents should behave and where the guardrails sit.
- Partner with Sales, Technical Account Management, and Support to bring enterprise field feedback into the roadmap.
- Guide new features through privacy, security, and ethics review, and help enterprise customers pass their own security and compliance reviews with confidence.
- Share strategy and results with senior leadership and industry analysts, and own go-to-market with Product Marketing.
- Mentor other product managers and share lessons learned about governing AI agents.
What you'll bring
- 8+ years of product management experience, 5+ years in enterprise B2B products, including work in data platform, compliance, cybersecurity, IAM, fraud/risk, or regulated industries.
- Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
- Understanding of how AI agents work to define their permissions and guardrails.
- Working knowledge of AI and privacy regulations such as GDPR and how enterprise security reviews work.
- Proven ability to align teams and leaders across the business, and drive decisions to closure
- Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information in a fast paced space.
- Preferred experience with Responsible AI frameworks or agent orchestration tools and frameworks.

Skills and AI tools this role asks for
Questions you could be asked
- How do you decide when an AI agent can act on its own versus asking for approval first?
- How do you decide which parts of a product should use AI versus a fixed set of rules?
- How do you think about the risk of an AI system in this kind of role failing silently?
- Tell me about a project where product management was part of your work. What did you do?
- Tell me about a project where strategy was part of your work. What did you do?
Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: AI Agents, AI Product, AI Safety, Product Management, and Strategy. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them — a tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Show where AI is part of your daily process, not a one-off project — this role expects it to be a running habit.
