AI in this role
Lead product management for AWS agentic workspaces and Desktop Cloud Visualization to drive AI-powered workflow automation.
We are AWS Agentic Workspaces, a part of AWS Applied AI Solutions (AAIS). We are creating a world in which our Customers’ people, teams and AI collaborate securely, from anywhere, on any technical stack, to create value for the world. Our product is a secure, managed environment that hosts and uses automation and agentic AI to increase the productivity and reduce cost of our Customers’ business workflows. It relies on Desktop Cloud Visualization (DCV), our high-performance display protocol, that provides Customers the ability to stream securely from any cloud/data center and network connections. Customers stream applications to simple client machines, focusing on the work rather than the virtualization infrastructure. Our team is part of AWS Applied AI Solutions, a team with a drive to allow millions of Customers to run efficient, safe and fast operations.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to evolve DCV. You will own the vision and deliver the results that scale DCV to thousands of clients and millions of users, across a diverse portfolio of products (e.g. Agentic WorkSpaces Applications, Agentic WorkSpaces Personal, EC2).
You will own the entire DCV portfolio, the success of its Customers and of their Customers. You will partner with our Engineering, Science and Customer Success teams to define the metrics that describe automation and agentic usage and efficiency, guiding Customers into the new era of business processes and ensuring our product delivers them measurable benefits. You will think about the CX of the Customer in all their personas (e.g. IT Administrator, Operator, Engineer, Builder, etc.). You will partner Customers to understand their needs and pains from legacy virtualization solutions, helping them reinvent their business processes to deliver cost and time savings with improved data and visibility. You will treat Agents as first class citizens, ensuring Customers can develop and deploy them safely on the workflows and environments enabled by DCV.
The ideal candidate:
This role is for you if you want to be part of reinventing how companies work. You gain energy from shaping an industry. While you have a track record of delivering simple solutions for complex problems, you know that success requires a strong team and partnerships across multiple functions. You think both long-term and short-term about how our Customers will derive value, and enable your peers, Engineering and Go To Market teams to see and realize the profitable future. You bring clarity to ambiguity, and spot the need for innovation on behalf of our Customers. Your past experience spans across enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML in environments which require security and quality.
Why this role matters:
Entire industries will go through shifts from automation, AI and agentic business. Every organization will need to answer: how do we let people and AI succeed together in their work, with high quality and securely, at near infinite scale. You will be building the answer with our Customers and Teams. This is an opportunity to participate in defining this industry, shaping it to your needs and ambitions.

Questions you could be asked
- How do you decide when an AI agent can act on its own versus asking for approval first?
- Walk me through how you've used Dcv in your day-to-day work.
- Describe a typical day in a role like this one: which parts run through AI directly?
- If you removed AI from this role, what would be left, and how do you decide what still needs a human?
Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: AI agents and Dcv. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Show where AI is part of your daily process, not a one-off project. This role expects it to be a running habit.
