Overview
The Data Distribution & Analytics team is looking for an Architect to build an API interface to access the transaction datasets residing in Data warehouse. You will have the opportunity to create high-performance API solutions and will be responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions.

Role:
• Hands-on developer who writes high quality, secure code that is modular, functional, and testable.
• Design and build technical roadmaps and guide the development staff on adoption.
• Lead day to day system development and maintenance activities of the team to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and create solutions with high level of innovation, cost effectiveness, high quality, and faster time to market.
• Have strong ownership of your team’s software and are deep in the maintenance characteristics, runtime properties and dependencies including hardware, operating system, and build.
• Investigate and troubleshoot customer reported issues and propose solutions which meet customer requirements along with architectural and business requirements.
• Conduct technical interviews for hiring engineering staff and raising the performance bar. Coach other technical resources.
• Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a global environment.

All About You:
• Proficient in architecture, design and implementation of micro services and distributed, scalable systems. Extensive experience with API based platforms.
• Expert programming skills in Java and micro-service development and junits.
• Expertise with Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, Tomcat.
• Skilled in working with both SQL and NoSQL persistence technologies, e.g. Postgress, Oracle, MongoDB.
• Proficiency in software development test approaches & frameworks: ATDD/BDD, Unit tests, Cucumber, Spock.
• Expertise working with cloud hosting technologies such as PCF, Azure.
• Command of CI/CD principles and tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Chef.
• Expertise in identifying performance bottlenecks and coming up with novel ways to solve them.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Leadership, initiative and willingness to take on challenging opportunities.
• Highly motivated and interested in cultivating a high performance team environment.

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work
experience.
