ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) business line builds next-generation products — hardware-enabled, software-defined systems that are fielded, operational, and scaling fast. The EW team operates at a tempo the defense industry isn't used to: delivering novel system configurations into active operations in days, not months, securing major contract awards in under 24 hours, and earning unanimous fielding recommendations from government evaluators. Production is scaling from hundreds to thousands of units across multiple product variants, and the release and delivery challenges are scaling with it.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our rapidly growing EW team in sunny Costa Mesa, California. The Product Manager will serve as liaison within the EW business line and complement the Development, Growth, and Manufacturing teams to bridge the gaps between market demand, profitability, and factory operations. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Partner with the Product Architect to own the product vision, roadmap, and commercialization strategy for an EW family of systems
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure alignment between system capabilities and mission objectives in complex operational scenarios
• Champion the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for emerging core products, variants, and accessories
• Responsible for planning, directing, and measuring the seamless execution of the product development process from NPI through manufacturing readiness, full rate production, and into sustainment
• Co-Chair the product Change Control Board (CCB) with Configuration Management for production sustainment
• Leverage inputs from various sources (market, growth, customer, reliability, automation, manufacturing, scalability) and drive product level decisions with high visibility and impact to the business line and customers
• Ensure status and effective communication with key stakeholders across the product development lifecycle

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, or equivalent experience in a complementary field
• 5+ years in product or program management, emphasizing in technical product ownership
• Experience managing NPI transition through full rate production, with the development gates and reviews associated
• Experience supporting design and execution for advanced, combined hardware/software systems
• Experience across both commercial product and defense industries
• Proven ability to decompose and organize technically complex projects in a structured approach
• Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders, across a wide range of technical comfort
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret Clearance / active U.S. Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.
• Experience with global product lines in a wide range of advanced technologies
• Experience with AS9100 quality management systems
• Experience with various MIL-STD testing and associated requirements
• Experience in business case proposals and contract negotiations

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
