๐Ÿถ Our mission

Every pet should get the care they need, regardless of cost. Vet med prices are up 40% since 2020, and pet owners are stuck having to pick between their bank account and furry friend. At Snout, we aim to solve this by enabling clinics to offer wellness plans that actually work.

๐Ÿš€ The opportunity

Snout is one of the fastest growing wellness plan providers in the veterinary space, trusted by clinics across the U.S. Weโ€™re a small but mighty startup team of <50 employees. Weโ€™re on the lookout for an experienced and remote Product Manager, Growth based in the U.S. to help leverage martech tools and optimize Snoutโ€™s user experience through our website and portal to fuel growth.

๐Ÿ’ป The role

As our Product Manager, Growth, you'll sit at the intersection of product, growth, marketing, and tooling. You will own the surfaces (vet portal, website) and some of the systems or internal tooling that drive clinic acquisition, pet parent enrollment, and lifecycle engagement. In this non-traditional PM role, you'll need to be someone who is a whiz with marketing, proficient in prototyping using modern AI-assisted tools and focussed on shipping fast.ย
You will shape how clinics discover Snout, how pet parents enroll, and how both experience the product at every stage of their journey while using AI and data to make every touchpoint smarter over time. You will impact Snout's product experience and growth engine, ensuring that it operates as one unified system. This is a rare chance to define the product-growth function and build the systems behind it from the ground up.
If you're a strategist and an executor, we'd love to hear from you!
Snout is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We know that great candidates may not check every box โ€” and thatโ€™s okay. If you're excited about this role and our mission, we encourage you to apply if you meet at least 75% of qualifications including the first bullet. If you need any accommodations during the application or interview process, please let us know โ€” weโ€™re happy to support you.

๐Ÿ›  What youโ€™ll do

  • Own the Snout vet directory, portal and website as growth products: local SEO and clinic discovery, conversion optimization, ICP-segmented journeys, and A/B testing across hero messaging and enrollment paths
  • Own the pet parent enrollment flow end to end: friction reduction, mobile UX, and conversion rate optimization
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders on the clinic-facing experience: onboarding UX, plan-builder interface, dashboard utility โ€” and define and measure the "first plan live" activation moment
  • Build the in-product data layer and AI-powered experiences: personalization, behavioral triggers, smart nudges, predictive enrollment prompts, and automated clinic insights layered on top of Snout's core platform
  • Define event instrumentation with engineering so clean data feeds both product analytics and lifecycle systems (Customer.io for pet owners, HubSpot for clinics), and translates usage into activation, churn, and expansion signals
  • Run continuous experimentation across email and in-product touchpoints: onboarding sequences, usage nudges, expansion prompts, renewal flows

๐Ÿ’กWhat we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience across product management, product-led growth, growth engineering and marketing
  • Demonstrated experience managing or developing internal tooling (martech preferred) and leveraging AI-powered product features
  • Proven track record of growth with a B2B2C, health tech, fintech, or marketplace/platform based product
  • Strong technical fluency โ€” you prototype in modern tools, write specs engineers love, and hold your own in data conversations.
  • Experience with enrollment/onboarding optimization and lifecycle-stage thinking
  • Comfort as both strategist and executor โ€” you'll have a channel partner, but no large team so youโ€™ll be hands-on
  • Deep familiarity with product analytics and experimentation frameworks

๐ŸŒŸ What will make you stand out

  • Prior founder or product marketing manager or general marketing experience
  • Experience building directory or marketplace products for local discovery
  • Fluency with AI-assisted development workflows (Cursor, Replit, v0) to ship growth experiments without waiting on eng sprints
  • Comfort in Amplitude or Mixpanel, Figma or Framer, and Webflow or Sanity โ€” you define what we measure and own the experimentation layer

๐Ÿ’– Why you should join Snout

  • Fast growing, venture capital backed technology company focused on improving access to veterinary care
  • Ability to have a meaningful impact from Day 1, where your voice and opinion matters
  • Unlimited potential to grow in your career, learn and expand your skillsets
  • Collaborative, flexible, and friendly culture

โŒ Why this role might not be a fit for you

  • You're not situated near a major airport or don't have the flexibility to travel on a quarterly basis
  • The pace and uncertainty of startup life feels destabilizing rather than energizing
  • You thrive within a fully established demand generation infrastructure rather than building one from the ground up
  • You gravitate toward optimizing existing funnels rather than architecting new ones
  • You haven't operated in a cross-functional setting alongside Sales or CX counterparts
  • You don't have a connection to animals or an affinity for our mission

๐Ÿ’ธ Compensation

  • $120 000 - $200 000 base salary
  • Equity

โš•๏ธBenefits

  • Day 1 medical/dental/vision benefits
  • Flexible time off + 11 Snout calendar holidays
  • Paid parental leave

Skills and AI tools this role asks for

CursorReplit

Questions you could be asked

  1. What's a project where you used Cursor hands-on?
  2. Walk me through how you've used Replit in your day-to-day work.
  3. This role expects you to use AI tools as part of the job. Which ones have you used, and for what?
  4. Tell me about a time an AI tool got something wrong. How did you catch it?

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Cursor and Replit. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them โ€” a tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
  • Put the AI tool in a bullet point about what you did, not just in a skills list โ€” this role treats it as a required part of the job.
