Senior Full-Stack Developer

Job Description

We're looking for a talented passionate Senior Full-Stack Developer who moves fast, takes ownership from day one, and enjoys building digital solutions that create real business impact. You will work closely with the wealth management Europe and Asia business teams to identify problems, shape opportunities, rapidly prototype solutions, validate ideas, and help transition high-potential concepts to internal technology teams for scalable delivery.

This role sits within a small innovation team designed to move quickly inside a large enterprise. We are looking for someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, engaging directly with stakeholders, bringing structure to unclear problems, proposing solutions, and driving work forward.

In this role, you will use modern full-stack technologies and AI development tools such as Claude Code, Windsurf, agentic workflows, and similar tools as a core part of your engineering workflow, while maintaining a high bar for quality, security, and maintainability.

What you’ll do:

• Build and ship rapid POCs end-to-end, validating ideas quickly and iterating based on real stakeholder feedback.
• Lead discovery conversation with business teams to understand pain points, workflows, constraints, and desired outcomes.
• Bring structure to ambiguous problems by clarifying outcomes, shaping solution options, and driving work forward.
• Architect clean, handoff-ready solutions that balance speed, scalability, maintainability, security, and enterprise delivery considerations.
• Work proactively with compliance, risk, security, architecture, platform, and internal technology teams to design responsibly and support transition to delivery.
• Use AI development tools and agent-based workflows as a force multiplier for prototyping, development, testing and documentation while maintaining strong engineering judgement.
• Create clear demos, solution narratives, and go/no-go recommendations on when to persist, scale or pivot an idea.
• Build trusted relationships with business partners by communicating clearly and turning ideas into tangible outcomes.
• Contribute reusable patterns, accelerators, and technical approaches that help the innovation team move faster over time.

Must-have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a full-stack developer, with hands-on experience building and delivering web applications.
• Experience building modern frontend applications using React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Backend development experience with Java, Sprint Boot, Python, Node.js or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, OAuth2.0, OIDC, SSL Certificates).
• Hands on experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful API and interface specifications (Swagger, SOAP).
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MSSQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of developing distributed cloud applications (OpenShift, Docker, AWS, Azure).
• Full software development life-cycle experience with CI/CD and testing prior to release.
• Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Windsurf, agentic workflows or similar tools.
• Strong engineering judgment across code quality, testing, maintainability, security and documentation.
• Curiosity and learning agility, with the ability to quickly evaluate and apply new technologies, tools, and patterns.
• Ability to work independently with ownership while collaborating effectively within a team.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with the financial space in investments and wealth management.
• Exposure to data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks.
• Product and design sensibility, with the ability to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
