AI in this role
Lead Go-To-Market talent acquisition in North America for an AI-native legal tech company experiencing rapid growth.
About Us
Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.
Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.
2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler.
We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.
Joining Legora means three things.
We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.
We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.
We grow together: as a team and with our customers.
Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.
If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.
The Role
Legora recently passed $200M in ARR, doubling in less than six months. North America is our fastest-growing market, our largest, and the one where competition is fiercest. We're hiring at significant scale across the teams that sell, deploy and grow Legora, from our New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Toronto and Mexico City offices. We need someone to lead that hiring and the 10+ person team behind it.
Based in our New York office, you'll lead all GTM recruiting across North America: sales, engagement, legal engineering and marketing. You'll report to our new Senior Director of Global GTM Talent Acquisition and be accountable for the quality, pace and consistency of GTM hiring across the US, Canada and Mexico. The scope will grow as the team scales.
You'll work with our CRO, sales and Marketing leadership team on how we build the GTM organization, including workforce planning, org design and the hiring strategy behind each new team and market. Our leaders are invested in recruiting, they make time for it, and they expect it to move as fast as the business.
What You'll Do
Lead and develop a team of Talent Partners across sales, engagement, legal engineering and marketing. Hire and grow the team as demand scales, with a core in New York close to the business and talent partners across our other North American hubs.
Run the operation tightly. You're in the detail on hiring plans, pipeline health, interview process and team capacity, and you drive the changes needed to make them work at scale.
Own the relationships with North American leaders in sales, engagement, legal engineering and marketing as a genuine hiring partner. Contribute to role scoping, success profiles and hiring strategy rather than waiting to be handed a brief.
Move easily between the detail and the exec room. Give executives a clear, honest picture of where every search stands, and handle escalations with the credibility to hold your ground.
Build pipelines ahead of demand across every function and hub. Much of the talent we need is passive, so you'll get the business behind hiring through outreach from hiring managers, referrals, and persistence across channels.
Hold the standard for candidate experience across your team, from first conversation through to offer. Every interaction should reflect the quality of the product and the people behind it.
Partner with the Senior Director of Global GTM Talent Acquisition and your European counterpart on process consistency and shared standards as both regions scale.
What You Bring
You've led recruiting teams across multiple GTM functions at companies with a world-class hiring bar and a plan that kept changing. You've seen more than one GTM organization up close, so you know what works, what doesn't, and how to bring consistency and rigor to hiring across very different profiles, from quota-carrying sellers to former lawyers and marketers. You have some battle scars, and you're at a point in your career where you want to be all in.
We're looking for:
Several years managing recruiting teams of real size. This isn't your first leadership role. You've hired and developed recruiters, kept a team motivated through a demanding stretch, and been accountable for outcomes rather than activity.
Time inside best-in-class GTM hiring functions, at high-growth, VC-backed or top-tier companies where the bar was genuinely high.
Breadth across GTM hiring. You've led or closely overseen hiring for sales plus at least one of customer success or engagement, marketing, or specialist or technical roles. Experience recruiting lawyers or legal professionals is a strong plus.
A mix of agency and in-house experience preferred. You've seen recruiting from both sides and built resilience from it.
The depth to hold credible conversations with senior leaders, up to CRO level, about what strong looks like at each level. You know the difference between a good resume and a good hire, and you don't lower the bar when searches get difficult.
Experience leading teams across multiple sites.
An operator's approach to running searches. You track the right things, use pipeline data to make decisions, and change the process when it isn't working.
A hiring bar that doesn't move under pressure. When searches get hard, you change the approach, not the standard.

Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Leadership, Workforce Planning, and Gtm Hiring. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them — a tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
