Key job responsibilities

Architect and develop scalable, secure systems designed to handle sensitive financial data across diverse customer environments
Partner with business teams to understand customer requirements, investigate potential solutions, and deliver innovative features that address real financial challenges
Establish and communicate architectural principles and design patterns, then mentor team members in their adoption and implementation
Lead technical analysis of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform platform development and innovation strategy
Make data-driven architectural decisions that balance scalability, customer experience, and business priorities

A day in the life
As a Senior Software Developer on our Finance as a Service team, you'll focus on architecting and developing systems that handle sensitive financial data for a diverse customer base—from large multinationals to small local businesses. You'll collaborate with our business partners to understand customer needs, then investigate, prototype, and deliver innovative solutions that solve real financial challenges. Your day might include establishing architectural principles and design patterns that guide your team's work, staying informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, and making data-driven decisions about our technology roadmap. You'll work in an Agile environment, balancing the need for scalability and high performance with practical business priorities, all while mentoring team members and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Our team is dedicated to creating technology that's secure, scalable, and accessible—whether serving large enterprises or growing businesses. We're focused on developing a multi-tenant operations stack with built-in data isolation and compliance controls from the ground up. You'll work alongside engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders who are committed to delivering solutions that genuinely meet customer needs while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and security.

Basic qualifications

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Preferred qualifications

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
