AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The AWS Field Experience (AFX) team is looking for an experienced Front-End Engineers (FEE) to help the team take AWS Agent Registry Hub and Agentic Platform to the next level. As a FEE on the team you will own significant portions of the product and will have influence on our strategy by helping define the next wave of product features and system architecture. The systems are complex and there are huge opportunities to work at all levels from a set of robust platform services, to system level pieces and everything in between. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is customer-centric, and is passionate about building quality software as well as achieving operational excellence. A commitment to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are essential.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of success delivering new features or products, and passion towards leveraging and evolving Agentic development using AI tools. This person has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast. This person has design and implementation experience, knowledge of web services and protocols, and an in-depth knowledge of distributed systems architectures.

Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving complex and broad business problems of cloud marketplaces with simple and straightforward solutions, applying appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices, building solutions that scale and perform well. They will own the design and implementation of major deliverables end-to-end. This position requires passion towards Agentic development, and/or curiosity towards leveraging AI tools in AI-SDLC, and collaboration with other engineers on the team, principal engineers, product managers, and partner teams. You should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and should have a desire to create, iterate and improve.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic qualifications

- 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience
- Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

Preferred qualifications

- Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
- Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
