Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will execute warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods. Follow, and ensure that others also follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record and dispatch goods in the warehouse.

The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification, Smart Building Business to be based at Nelamangala, Bangalore India. 

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Warehouse & Inventory Management – Maintain accurate ERP data, control inventory, optimize warehouse capacity and floor utilization, and ensure effective stock management.
• Inbound Quality & Supplier Coordination – Check the quality of incoming materials, ensure proper storage, and maintain regular coordination with suppliers for timely material availability.
• Factory Feeding & Operational Support – Ensure timely material supply to the factory, support production requirements, and contribute to meeting monthly revenue and operational targets.
• Process, Productivity & KPI Management – Develop and maintain departmental work instructions, monitor productivity and KPIs, and implement actions to improve warehouse, workforce, and equipment efficiency.
• Digitalization & Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement warehouse and factory digitalization initiatives, carry out continual improvement activities, and develop innovative solutions to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electronics & Communication (EC), Electrical & Electronics (E&E), or a relevant engineering discipline.
• 8–15 years of experience in warehouse management and internal logistics operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of inbound and outbound warehouse operations, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient material movement.
• Direct experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and good understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications for inventory, warehouse, and operational management.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, communicate, collaborate, and improve team performance.
• Solid problem-solving, methodical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with solid proficiency in English.
