At PwC, our Strategy& team brings together professionals with a distinctive combination of strategy, corporate finance and transformation capabilities, supporting leading corporate clients and Private Equity investors across Industrial Products, Consumer Goods and Business Services.

Our positioning is built on two key differentiating factors. First, deep strategic consulting expertise underpinned by a strong understanding of our focus industries. Second, an end-to-end perspective enabled by a broad range of complementary capabilities, spanning growth strategy, business transformation, commercial due diligence, value creation, cost optimization and execution support.

As a PwC Strategy& consultant, you will work closely with corporate clients and Private Equity investors to address complex strategic and business challenges.

You will support corporate clients on growth, portfolio, performance improvement and transformation topics. You will also work with Private Equity investors across the deal cycle, from Commercial Due Diligence engagements to value creation initiatives with their portfolio companies.

You will analyze market dynamics and industry trends, assess business performance and strategic opportunities, and contribute to the development of growth and transformation strategies. Leveraging both strategic and financial perspectives, you will help clients translate strategic ambitions into actionable initiatives and support their implementation to deliver tangible and sustainable results.

We are looking for candidates with 3-4 years of relevant professional experience and a clear entrepreneurial mindset. You will be expected to take ownership of your work, lead project workstreams, identify opportunities proactively and contribute to the development of both client relationships and the team.

Driven by curiosity, you will play an active role in shaping project outcomes, coordinating and coaching junior team members, contributing to proposals and business development, and working with clients and colleagues across different projects, industries and strategic challenges.

Examples of the skills, knowledge and experience required at this level include, but are not limited to:

  • 3-4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably gained in strategy consulting or another similarly demanding environment.
  • Experience in leading project workstreams and supporting junior team members, managing complex strategic, commercial and financial analyses under tight, deal-driven timelines.
  • Experience working with corporate clients on topics such as growth strategy, portfolio strategy, business transformation, performance improvement and cost optimization, and/or with Private Equity investors on Commercial Due Diligence and value creation engagements.
  • Knowledge of, or relevant project experience in, Industrial Products, Consumer Goods and Business Services.
  • A clear entrepreneurial mindset, combined with intellectual curiosity, initiative and the ability to identify opportunities proactively, contributing to proposals, business development and team-building initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze complex business issues, challenge assumptions and synthesize quantitative and qualitative evidence into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong financial acumen and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including business plan development and review, market modelling and EBITDA bridge analyses.
  • Ability to develop and manage high-quality, client-ready deliverables, ensuring analytical rigor, clear storytelling and impactful recommendations.
  • Ability to approach client challenges from an end-to-end perspective, connecting strategic objectives with financial implications and execution priorities.
  • Confidence in interacting with corporate executives, Private Equity professionals and other senior stakeholders, adapting communication style to different audiences and collaborating effectively across teams and backgrounds.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, written and spoken, is mandatory.

For this opportunity, we offer employment under the Level 1 Italian Commerce Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Commercio), with an indicative annual gross salary ranging from €45,000 to €55,000.
