The role

Reporting to the Director Programmes (IndoPac), you will keep our Multi Domain campaign pursuits moving across Australia and the Indo-Pacific. Working alongside local Multi Domain leadership, you will run the day-to-day machinery of our sales operations: tracking customer engagement milestones, coordinating bid submissions and stage-gate approvals, and keeping pipeline data accurate. You will also connect the Australian team into global operational and governance rhythms in the UK and Europe, representing local priorities without adding administrative weight to the regional team. Your mandate is squarely local: supporting the colleagues who win business here, removing operational friction, and building a disciplined, scalable foundation for the Multi Domain domain as it grows.

The day-to-day

• Support the local Multi Domain Lead as their operational partner, tracking actions to closure, preparing materials for priority customer meetings, and keeping pipeline data accurate ahead of every review

• Run the internal mechanics of active pursuits, managing deliverable timelines and coordinating technical, commercial and finance inputs so that bids are submitted complete and on schedule

• Coordinate stage-gate approvals and bid submissions with Commercial, Finance and Legal, so that governance requirements are met without slowing deal velocity

• Manage the interface with UK and global functions, meeting central reporting, finance and governance cadences while making sure Australian priorities are accurately represented

• Establish lightweight tracking systems for customer engagements, action logs and bid materials, and run the weekly pipeline reviews and performance reporting for the Australian Multi Domain business

You should apply if you

• Have coordinated complex projects, bids or sales pursuits in business operations, consulting or a defence environment

• Maintain pipeline trackers, governance packs and action logs with care, and follow up on the details that turn pursuits into signed business

• Translate raw operational data into clear written updates and decision-ready materials for senior stakeholders

• Collaborate comfortably across time zones, keeping work moving with colleagues in the UK and Europe alongside Australian commitments

• Enjoy learning the fundamentals of defence sales operations, with an interest in growing into broader operational or commercial responsibility

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with defence procurement, military bid gates, or government contracting in Australia/Indo-Pacific is a plus
• Australian citizenship, with eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Baseline / NV1 or equivalent)
• Experience administering CRM and pipeline tooling, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
