Systems Test Engineer, Patient Interface
As our Systems Test Engineer you are part of our Patient Interface Mask group that has end-to-end responsibilities for these wearable devices and will support all Systems Test activities necessary to support the release, relaunch, and maintenance of our FDA-regulated medical devices. You will play an active role in ensuring requirements are complete, unambiguous, and testable, collaborate to develop detailed test plans, and assist with development testing prior to the verification and validation phase.
Your role:
- Provide engineering support for the release and updates on CPAP masks and wearable devices through all V&V activities.
- Responsible for products from concept through launch and obsolescence.
- Ensure customer needs are met, to include coordination of Validation activities, to ensure higher confidence, reliability, and satisfaction in products released to market.
- Support development testing before verification and validation. Collaborate to ensure clear, testable requirements and detailed test plans.
- Leverage team strengths and shared responsibilities for project success.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired minimal years of experience in the medical device industry with knowledge of global medical device regulations and standards, experience creating test plans, procedures, and requirement trace matrices.
- Your skills include developing V&V test plans, test procedures, requirements trace matrices, test reports, validating test methods (TMV), DOE, gage R&R and a working knowledge of global medical device regulations, requirements, and standards.
- You have a B.S. in Engineering/Science discipline or equivalent, required and MS degree nice to have.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Murrysville, PA is $73,000 to $117,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Murrysville, PA.
