Job Title
Technical Product Owner - Image Guided Therapy (Display Software)Job Description
Turn deep software engineering expertise into clear product direction for image-guided therapy. As Technical Product Owner for display software in the Imaging Chain Cluster, you will connect hands-on understanding of complex software systems with backlog ownership, technical roadmaps and delivery commitments for Philips X-ray platforms, including Azurion.
Your role
- Own and prioritize the Scrum team backlog, prepare content for PI planning and align features with the technical roadmap and business priorities.
- Translate system, software and stakeholder needs into well-defined features and stories that enable the team to deliver maintainable, high-quality software.
- Estimate and roadmap features within the Agile Release Train, actively managing risks, dependencies and commitments across teams.
- Use your recent hands-on software engineering experience to challenge technical assumptions, guide trade-offs and partner credibly with software designers, engineers, architects and system stakeholders.
- Contribute to innovation in X-ray imaging and display software for the Azurion platform while supporting quality and maintainability in a regulated medical-device environment.
- Drive continuous improvement and lean ways of working across local and international stakeholders.
You're the right fit if
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent field, with more than 10 years of technical software-development experience.
- You have recent hands-on software engineering or software design experience, including C++11 or later, C#, legacy code, and development in Windows environments. This is a technical Product Owner role rather than a project-management-led position.
- You bring more than 3 years of Product Owner experience and can translate complex technical needs into an effective backlog, roadmap and delivery plan within a Scrum team and Agile Release Train.
- You have experience with model-based design, automatic code generation, software-to-hardware interaction, TDD, BDD and AI-assisted software development, together with a can-do and continuous-improvement mindset.
Nice to have: experience in healthcare or MedTech and working in a regulated environment.

Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: Agile, Scrum, Software Engineering, Product Management, and Tdd. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them — a tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Put the AI tool in a bullet point about what you did, not just in a skills list — this role treats it as a required part of the job.
