Technical Program Manager

AI in this role

About Nscale

Nscale is the GPU cloud engineered for AI. We provide cost-effective, high-performance infrastructure for AI start-ups and large enterprise customers. Nscale enables AI-focused companies to achieve superior results by reducing the complexity of AI development. Our GPU cloud bolsters technical capabilities and directly supports strategic business outcomes, including cost management, rapid innovation, and environmental responsibility.

We thrive on a culture of relentless innovation, ownership, and accountability, where every team member takes pride in their work and drives it with excellence and urgency. As an Nscaler, you’ll build trust through openness and transparency, where everyone is inspired to do their best work. If you join our team, you’ll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.

About the role

We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead delivery of Nscale's Technology Operations program portfolio: the platforms, endpoints and collaboration tooling that every Nscale employee depends on. You'll help deliver these services as the company scales across offices, data-centre locations and remote teams.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, Global Technology Operations. You'll own delivery outcomes personally, working closely with TechOps engineers to turn technical designs into sequenced, deliverable plans. You'll need to understand the technology well enough to challenge a plan and build lightweight mechanisms that improve execution without creating process drag.

What you'll be doing

Program Delivery

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the Technology Operations program portfolio, including device management platform migrations, global office build-outs and productivity tooling transformation.
  • Run technology implementation, migration and remediation projects at scale, covering pilot groups, rollout waves, rollback criteria, cutover runbooks and early-life support.
  • Partner with TechOps engineers to translate technical designs into delivery plans, maintaining accurate program documentation, decision records and delivery artefacts.
  • Support technical changes with clear communications, adoption planning and support readiness.
  • Drive blockers and escalations to resolution, rather than simply reporting them onward.

Delivery Standards and Cross-Team Alignment

  • Define delivery and reporting standards for technical projects within TechOps, aligning with Corporate Engineering and Information Security where appropriate.
  • Establish and run weekly programme reviews, roadmap tracking, escalation paths and action follow-through.
  • Build intake and prioritisation mechanisms that make clear what's being done now, what's deferred and what risk is being accepted.

Reporting and Communication

  • Maintain a single executive-ready portfolio view covering scope, milestones, blockers and risks.
  • Translate technical delivery detail into clear business impact for leadership.
  • Use device inventory, enrolment state, licensing and ticket data to drive delivery and adoption reporting, reducing manual status gathering.
  • Distinguish real progress from activity and surface slippage before milestones are missed.

About You

Required Experience and Skills

  • 6+ years' experience in technical program management, IT program delivery, corporate or enterprise engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable delivery of large-scale endpoint, identity or collaboration platform migrations across complex or distributed environments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with identity, device management, productivity and other core workplace technologies, sufficient to challenge a technical plan, not just track it.
  • Strong change management and end-user communication skills, with an understanding that a technically successful migration can still fail if adoption and support aren't addressed.
  • Experience defining delivery standards, reporting frameworks or operating mechanisms adopted beyond your immediate team.
  • Ability to translate technical detail into clear executive-level reporting.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in a fast-growing international technology, cloud, infrastructure or AI organization.
  • Experience working alongside Enterprise Security and Identity teams on device posture, conditional access, MFA or local admin reduction.
  • Comfort querying platform data to automate reporting rather than collecting status manually.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials Plus.
  • Experience using AI or automation to improve program tracking, reporting or corporate engineering operations.
